I am traveling with my churches missions pastor and a group from Saddleback to Haiti on the 27th to begin some planning for our future mission trips. I have been following this blog and a few others in anticipation of my trip. By profession I am a Physical Therapist as well as being a Certified Pedorthist (specialist in feet, fitting footwear, and fabricating orthotics for foot problems, diabetics etc). I also own/operate 3 retail stores and an internet site where we sell running shoes, apparel, etc. I enjoyed your comments about how we often pray but dont go ahead and prepare for the prayer to be answered...how true that is! I prayed that if I asked that I would receive (Matt 7:7) and started contacting some of our various vendors...of couse not expecting the amazing things that God can do I hadnt planned for what to do with all the materials..and one of the companies I "asked" is committing 5,400 pairs of diabetic socks!!!!
