Pastor Diogene and the leadership at the church in Port-au-Prince have indentified 180 families who are in desperate need in the wake of the recent earthquake in Haiti. We are preparing to help them put their lives back together, which will largely consist of helping them rebuild their homes. But while we work toward that goal, these families need help to survive.
To that end, we are looking for 180 sponsors to make a six-month commitment to one of these families for $50 or $100 monthly, depending on the size of the family. A typical $50 sponsorship might for be a widow with two or three children. A $100 sponsorship might provide for a husband and wife, a grandmother, and several children.
