Dear Friends,

Thank you for your prayers. While the unrest intensifies in Haiti, we realize that the only hope for Haiti is in Almighty God. He alone is the answer to all the problems. Many of you have been asking about how our ministry is affected. Pastor Diogene and his wife are in Florida visiting family and enjoying a much needed rest. He is in regular contact with his church leaders in Haiti and getting updates on the situation. Before he left, Diogene made arrangements for the food needs for the orphanage and our schools for the next couple of months.

Our ministry is centered in the northern part of Haiti (see map) where much of the rebellion has taken place. Tricotte and our school villages however are mostly in very remote areas and are unaffected. Our schools are operating and the kids are being fed. Continue Reading →
