I just had a quick call from Doug. He started at 5:00 AM this morning and is in the Tricotte area currently loading up our truck with food. This is food from the FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN organization that we had cleared customs just a couple of days before the earthquake hit. He is loading up and then driving immediately back to PAP.
Pastor Diogene and his ministry team have identified 180 families from his PAP church who are in desperate need of this food. So Doug should be back in PAP by before dark and they will begin the distribution process.
We are so thankful that God has provided this food for these hungry people today. We are also so thankful for organizations like FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN in Minnesota and THE GLEANERS in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, who have generously been providing food for our ministry and to so many others.
